Dear Passengers system requirements for PC

Steam publishes one official minimum specification for Windows. FLEXUS has not added recommended hardware, performance targets, Steam Deck support, or requirements for another operating system.

How to read the list

Minimum does not mean a performance promise

A minimum specification describes the lowest hardware FLEXUS currently lists for running the game. It does not tell us the target resolution, graphics preset, average frame rate, or how the game performs during a physics-heavy cabin emergency.

The processor line names an Intel Core i5 running at 2.5 GHz or an equivalent chip, but no generation or core count is given. Clock speed alone is not enough to compare every modern processor, so this guide will not produce a definitive CPU compatibility list from that wording.

The graphics line is unusual because the GTX 1060 and RX 6600 XT are not direct performance matches. They are nevertheless the exact two minimum models named on Steam. The right approach is to preserve the official wording rather than silently substitute a different AMD card.

Check the official Steam system requirements before buying, because pre-release specifications can change.

What is missing

Recommended specs and platform details

Steam currently shows only a minimum column. There is no official recommended CPU, amount of RAM, GPU, storage target, or performance profile. An SSD is not listed as a requirement.

FLEXUS has not stated whether the final game will support Windows 11 specifically, although Windows applications that support Windows 10 often run on it. That general expectation is not a Dear Passengers compatibility guarantee.

There is also no published Steam Deck rating, Linux build, macOS build, controller requirement, VR requirement, ultrawide support statement, or upscaling feature list. Those details should remain separate from the confirmed minimum.

Before release: use these numbers as a planning reference, not as a benchmark. Wait for final requirements and independent performance testing if stable frame rate is important to you.

Pre-flight checklist

What you can verify now

These checks compare your system with the published lines without inventing missing performance data.

  • Confirm that Windows is 64-bit and meets or exceeds Windows 10.
  • Open your system information to identify the exact CPU model; do not compare only the “i5” label.
  • Check that installed memory is at least 8 GB.
  • Identify the dedicated GPU model and compare it with the two models listed by FLEXUS.
  • Keep at least 4 GB free, with additional space for Steam updates and temporary files.
  • Review the Steam page again near launch in case the requirements change.
