Source before schedule
Editorial policy
The rules used to keep this pre-release guide accurate, transparent, and independent.
Source priority
Official sources come first. For Dear Passengers, the primary source is the game's Steam store page. Official FLEXUS channels, including the FLEXUS Games YouTube channel, are used when they directly publish or demonstrate a claim. A named, on-record statement by FLEXUS leadership may confirm the studio's stated plan when carried by a reputable publication, but it is attributed and does not establish public availability. Reporting without a named developer source provides context only and does not replace an official announcement for dates, price, platform support, or product features.
A developer-tagged community reply is presented as the developer's statement, not as independent proof. The Dear Passengers AI use guide applies that rule by quoting the scope of FLEXUS's response, linking the original discussion, and stating what the available evidence cannot verify.
Confirmation labels
Confirmed means the current official source states or clearly lists the fact. Confirmed plan means FLEXUS has stated an intention through an official channel or named, on-record leadership comment; it does not mean the feature is available today. Not announced means the checked sources for that page do not publish the answer. It does not mean “cancelled,” “never,” or “unlikely.”
We avoid “expected,” “probably,” and “likely” on decision-critical details unless the sentence clearly identifies a source and explains that the statement is an inference. The site does not use rumor sections.
Dates and updates
Core pages show a visible “Last updated” date. That date changes when the page's facts, source interpretation, or useful explanation changes—not merely because a scheduled check ran. Pre-release facts are rechecked after official announcements and before major edits.
Corrections
When a factual error is found, the page is corrected as soon as practical. A meaningful correction is noted in the homepage change log. Older wording is not preserved publicly when it could continue to mislead readers. Report errors, broken links, accessibility problems, or media concerns at support@dearpassengers.org; this is a guide contact, not official game support.
Independence
Dear Passengers Guide is not affiliated with FLEXUS, Valve, or Steam. The site does not receive payment, keys, review access, sponsorship, affiliate commission, or editorial direction from those companies. If that changes, the relevant page will disclose it before the affected content.
Media use
The site self-hosts four compressed screenshots obtained from Steam's official public media delivery and embeds two official YouTube videos without re-uploading them. Every screenshot carries a source caption. The site does not use the official game logo as its brand.
Official media is used only where it helps identify, explain, or comment on the game. A source record keeps the original URL, owner, retrieval date, and page use for each asset.
Originality and limitations
Public copy is written as original explanation and synthesis. It does not mirror the Steam description or reproduce third-party articles. Because the game has not been released, this site does not claim hands-on experience, benchmarks, strategies, reviews, or complete guides.
Unofficial fan guide; not affiliated with FLEXUS. For current product information, use the official Steam listing.
